Lost: Something Nice Back Home
wow! the timeline was straight forward in this one... and you could tell from the music whether it was going to a flash forward, or you were going back to the island.... which got me thinking: was Jack on the island having flash-forwards? or was in ... wherever he was (Kate?!?!) ... having flashbacks to the island?
yeah, don't think too hard about that one.
i'd seen somewhere after last weeks, when they showed the preview for this one, that it seemed kinda anti-climactic to have Jack have a serious problem - i mean, we know he's one of the Oceanic 6, so he can't die on the Island.
now, Kate. she kept saying she went to visit "him." she said that in the S3 season finale as well....
correct me if i'm wrong - but we only know 5 of the Oceanic 6, right? Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sun and Sayid.
... the only "him" i could think of in connection to Kate... is Sawyer. does Sawyer NOT make it off the island? when do we find out the last of the Oceanic 6 - cause i've been told Lostpedia does NOT consider Aaron one of the Oceanic 6. i haven't been to Lostpedia, cause, well... spoilers. (for the S3 finale, i knew there were flash-forwards, and i wish i didn't. so, yeah.)
and what's with Sawyer finding just Aaron? what happened to Claire??
more questions of course. it's been said there's 16 episodes in seasons 5 and 6, so i said we'll get answers around episode 6x15. maybe we'll start getting them around 4x11, yeah?
Supernatural: Long Distance Call
boys in suits!
Dean being snarky!
Sam arguing with Dad!
talk about a long distance call - From Beyond! (insert appropriate Lovecraft comment here)
i seriously love this show, and this one is on the faves list as well! *wink*
opening scene, when the guy was talking on the phone, and then he ripped it out of the wall - i knew it was going to ring, but that could be cause it's common in this genre.
scene where Dean tells Sam that Ruby can't save him, and Sam's reaction to Dean not telling him - it's not like Sam was completely honest and telling Dean everything either.
loved that Dean was snarking about boy bands.
loved that Dean wanted so much to believe it was Dad on the other end... and our Trusty Sidekick Geek Boy found out otherwise.
loved how Dean was all about the computer porn, but then bad-ass when he needed to be.
when they were getting beat up, i commented: "the boys are getting beat up again - must be thursday!" *hee*
when Sam was with the phone guy/Crocotta (the what? i found it in the episode description over on IMDb!), and you could see the metal hooks on the peg board behind him? and remembering some of the gore from earlier in the season? yeah, i saw that coming too.
and Dean's realisation the guy wasn't a Demon? *eep*
love the boys at the end.... just so... Dean and Sam, y'know?
in conclusion: i love my shiny shows!
